The overall Actual to Expected Ratio for all of Fasano business for the period was 96%; a clear reaffirmation of prior results and a recognition that Fasano underwriting methodology continues to produce the most accurate life expectancy predictions in the industry today. The study was performed by Lake Consulting Inc, an independent actuarial consulting firm. <br /><br /> The base table used in the study was the 2008 VBT Select & Ultimate mortality table published by the Society of Actuaries, adjusted to reflect each individual s LE as determined via Fasano underwriting methodology. The changed mortality rates were used as the basis of expected deaths. Nearly sixty thousand LE estimates were considered in the analysis. <br /><br /> The firm s goals, Consistency, Accuracy and Professional are clearly shown in the results of this most recent update.
